Introduction

I’ve struggled trying to write a clever introduction to this blog so that you’ll come back to read my next entry, but all attempts have fallen short to expectation. This being the case, I’m just going to throw the basics out there for you, and you can take or leave it.
________________________________________

My name is Trina. I’m 23, and I recently moved in with my boyfriend, Josh.  Josh works a full-time and part-time job, and I work almost full-time at the local quilt shop.  So, as I’m sure you’ve put together, I’m not a wife, nor do I stay at home all day, i.e. not a real housewife. However, when I’m not working, I do loving being at our apartment making it a home.

This blog is going to be my place to share fun, funky, or just plain weird experiences as I learn to be a more traditional sort of female as transposed to a modern world. I hope that it provides you with entertainment, that it makes you smile, or that you maybe even pick up a few hints.

Yours truly,
Trina T.

  1. Welcome to the world of Blog. So far, so good Trina. I for one will be checking back to see how you and your new role are getting along. I am also looking forward to seeing some of your quilts and works in progress.
Sorry I missed out on Tues guild and your class. When will you be posting instructions????
    Again, welcome to BlogWorld.

  2. I love this, Trin. I was you 10 years ago, quilter, live-in house girlfriend or whatever you call it. I'm a very traditional girl; hubby brings home most of the bacon, and with that, I get to work at our local quilt shop, living my dream. He comes home to clean laundry, nice clean house, and a hot meal. And no, that hot meal is not always cooked by me haha :) But the fact is I take care of him. And then we threw two little boys in the mix, and it's just crazy here! But I still get quilts done! Enjoy Trina. You and I are so alike I love it!

  3. Sandy: Instructions for the four-patch posy will be coming within the next couple of months hopefully. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of each step as I was working on this one, and now it is already cut up! I might be able to work around it, but if not, instructions will have to wait until I start another.

    Rita: Thanks!

Carly: When we became friends on Facebook I knew we were so similar, and I love it as well! Do you have a blog? I imagine that you are probably super busy, to much so to do a blog. I mean I am, and I don't even have kids!
